Xavier’s access to the Wall Street Journal is through a website called ABI/INFORM Global, which is a database for journals, newspapers, and other media. We subscribe to this database through the library, so you will need to use your Xavier login to access it.
To access the Wall Street Journal:
- Go to the ABI/INFORM Global’s Wall Street Journal website.
- Or, you can find this link through the library website: click on Journal Title Search to limit your search to journals and newspapers. In the search bar, type Wall Street Journal and then click Search. Click on the first search result (Wall Street journal (Eastern ed.), then click on the blue hyperlink that says ABI/INFORM Global.
- You may be prompted to verify that you are a Xavier user. In the "Please Select and Institution" drop-down menu, select XAVIER UNIVERSITY-OH and the click Log In. You may also receive a pop-up to sign into your Xavier account. Use your Xavier email and password. Once you are signed in, the website will route you to the Wall Street Journal.
- The issues are organized by the publication date and by the page number in the newspaper. If you're looking for a specific topic or article, you can use the search bar at the top of the page to locate it. To change the date, use the dropdown menus under "Choose an issue to view" to select a date, and click "Show issue contents".
- Select an article title to read the article.
