How do I limit my search to streaming videos in the Library AllForOne Search?

Searching for streaming videos in the AllForOne Search allows you to search across multiple databases.

To limit your search to streaming videos: 

  • Go to the AllForOne Search.
  • Type a topic or video title into the search bar. Click Search or press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Click Sign In in the yellow bar below the search box, and follow prompts to sign into your account. This will all the search to show all options available to Xavier users.
  •  To limit your search to streaming videos, use the filters on the left-hand side of the page to select Availability: Available Online and Source Type: Video. Click Apply Filters.

Under "Availability", select "Available Online". Under "Source Type", select "Video". Click "Apply Filters" to apply the selected filters to your results.

  • To view a film, click on the title or click on Online Access.
  • Below Online Access, the streaming film collections with this video are listed in blue text. Click on a collection, and you will be routed to the video. You may need to log into your Xavier account in order to watch the video.

 ​​​​​​​To access the video, click one of the collections listed in blue text below "Online Availability".

Your search now includes only streaming videos available to you.
